Welcome back to The Girl Behind The Lens! This week I want to introduce you to another one of my favorite bloggers, Laura from http://theoutfitaddiction.blogspot.com/. I love her simple look and is she afraid of colors? Of course not! How can I not love her?
How would you describe your personal style?
My fashion is a little all over the place, but I like sticking to a slightly preppy style. I love layering with gingham, stripes, polka dots, everything. Some days I like to venture outside my normally preppy attire and try new things. I’m working on taking more risks and getting outside my comfort zone. Blogging is great for helping me work on that!
Who are your fashion icons?
My fashion icons are Olivia Palermo, Kate Middelton and Jenna Lyons. However, since most of their wardrobes cost a lotttt of money, I love looking to other bloggers for inspiration. Pinterest is also a great place to look for inspiration when I’m in a stump.
What styling tips could you offer someone to be more confident?
Always dress for yourself. Don’t dress to impress your friends or some guy. If you don’t feel comfortable in what you’re wearing, you won’t feel comfortable in yourself. When trying new risks, talk yourself up and not down. Rock it with confidence and fake it till you make it.
What are your favorite places to shop?
When I’m in a splurging mood (which happens all too often) I love to look at J. Crew and Nordstrom. But I also find great things at Forever 21, Nordstrom Rack and H&M. Oh and Target. Target is probably my favorite place ever.

What trend are you excited for this Spring?
I’m looking forward to rocking some neons (classily). I really want a bright, flowy top to layer with and pair with some basics. I’m also excited to just break out of this winter rut I’m in with jeans and boots. I can’t wait for cool new flats, boat shoes and sandals.

What is the one FASHION thing you can't leave the house with out?
I cannot leave the house without jewelry! I have so much jewelry that I feel like it’s a waste to not wear any. I usually wear a pair of diamonds or pearls and a statement necklace.

Here are her blogging tips:
What made you want to start a blog?
Stalking other blogs made me want to start my own. All my friends knew about my addiction and suggested I start my own. It took awhile for me to actually do it, but now I’m so happy I did! I’ve made some great blogger friends and I look to my blog as sort of a journal where I can remember important events in my life.
Who takes your pictures?
My best friend and roommate Hayley takes my pictures. She has a fancy camera and I’m so thankful for her trudging out in the cold to take my pictures everyday. She is a fabulous videographer as well. Check out her vimeo account: Shk.e Creative.
I would say just be yourself and only blog to what’s true to you. If you aren’t liking a current trend, then don’t put it on your blog just for the sake of looking “on trend.” If you want to gain viewership, comment comment comment and find link ups. This brings a lot of people to your blog and helps you find new friends.
And the most important question of all: What do you like to do for fun? Any hobbies? Family life?
Of course my favorite thing to do is SHOP. You guys, I could literally shop all day. It just makes me happy. And this is starting to sound like I’m from Confessions of a Shopaholic. But I love to run, be with my friends and cook. My family is so important to me and my siblings are my best friends. I’m the youngest of five and we are pretty spread out, but we all stay in good contact. I also have THE CUTEST nieces and nephews who I am so obsessed with.

Great style! Love the first sweater and the peplum top!
